Woman’s body found in creek after major Pennsylvania floods

BETHEL PARK, Pa. (AP) — Officials say they’ve recovered the body of a woman swept away by floodwaters after a line of powerful storms dumped nearly 4 inches of rain on parts of western Pennsylvania.

The Observer-Reporter, citing Bridgeville police, reports the woman’s body was found in McLaughlin Run, just southwest of Pittsburgh. Her name wasn’t immediately released.
