Woman guilty but mentally ill in daughter-in-law’s death

MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) — A 64-year-old Georgia woman has pleaded guilty but mentally ill in the death of her son’s estranged wife.

Cobb County District Attorney Vic Reynolds says in a statement that Elizabeth Wall pleaded guilty Friday and was sentenced to life in prison for the 2016 killing.

Thirty-five-year-old kindergarten teacher Jenna Wall was shot four times while her young sons sat in her mother-in-law’s vehicle.
