Winston-Salem man convicted of crashing into house, killing man

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man accused of crashing into a Winston-Salem house and killing a man was convicted Wednesday in Forsyth Superior Court, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

Quante Hashim Rucker, 38, of Winston-Salem, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and driving while impaired in connection with the death of Tommy Leon Curry.

Rucker was sentenced to 15 years and five months to 19 years and six months in prison, the Journal reported.
