Watchdog probes missing hard drives from Toronto Pan Am executives

TORONTO – Ontario’s Information and Privacy Commissioner is launching an investigation into the deletion of hard drives by executives with Toronto’s Pan Am Games.

The Progressive Conservatives complained to the privacy watchdog after the auditor general said she could not get nine of the 12 computer hard drives requested from Pan Am officials, including CEO Saad Rafi’s, because they had been “disposed of.”
