Vote to remove Ontario Medical Association president fails

Members of the Ontario Medical Association’s executive will remain in their positions after an attempt to remove them failed Sunday, despite the fact that they lost the confidence of a majority of the council.

OMA President Dr. Virginia Walley and her executive survived the vote initiated by a group of doctors who are concerned the association is failing to represent their interests in negotiations with the province.
