Villa Park has rough moments, but able to hold off Brea Olinda

BREA – It might seem unusual for a coach to be upset with his team’s performance after a 14-point win over a league rival, but the Villa Park boys basketball team has high expectations after its deep run in the CIF-SS and CIF State playoffs last season.

The Spartans opened North Hills League play with a 79-65 win against Brea Olinda on Tuesday. They  led by as many as 20 points in the fourth quarter, but Coach Kevin Reynolds was dissatisfied with his team’s performance.
