The NFL’s war against fun has no end in sight. Washington tight end Vernon Davis was fined $12,154 by the league for shooting a jump shot after a touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.
The veteran tight end was called for excessive celebration on the play, and it cost his team 15 yards on the kickoff. On the kickoff, Wendell Smallwood took the kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown.
