The Hubble Telescope took this amazing photo of a 'Bubble Nebula' for its 26th birthday

The Hubble Telescope has now been in orbit around the Earth for 26 years. To celebrate, it snapped this gorgeous image of the 'Bubble Nebula,' which is between 7,000 and 11,000 light-years away.

The bubble formed because the solar wind of a nearby star crashes into a massive molecular cloud full of dust and gas at over 62,000 miles per hour, causing it to glow. The bubble itself is about 10 light-years wide, and it's still growing.
