CINCINNATI (AP) — Otto Warmbier, the U.S. student freed from North Korea, has died, family says in a statement released by Ohio hospital.
The American was serving a 15-year prison term with hard labor for alleged anti-state acts.
The State Department had secured Warmbier’s release at the direction of President Donald Trump.
