Snowmobile pioneer to lead crossing of Mackinac Bridge 51 years after landmark journey

The 1966 crossing of the Mackinac Bridge was just a small, 5-mile stretch of an epic 4,330-mile journey that took Jim Langley, then 29, and Clark Dahlin, then 26, across the continent from Vancouver to Maine. All atop two 15-horsepower Polaris Colts rigged to pass as automobiles on the highways of North America.
