Schlumberger Revenue Finally Rises, But Misses Views

Schlumberger (SLB) met earnings forecasts Friday, while revenue climbed for the first time in two years but not as strong as expected.

Estimates: EPS to fall 37.5% to 25 cents, but revenue is seen rising 7% to $6.98 billion.

Results: EPS declined to 25 cents a share, as revenue rose to $6.89 billion.

Stock: Schlumberger fell 0.3% in premarket trading on the stock market today. Halliburton (HAL), which reports April 24, and Baker Hughes (BHI), which reports April 25, were quiet.
