Raytheon Lifts Revenue View As Foreign Orders Climb

Raytheon (RTN) reported second-quarter revenue above analyst estimates Thursday and raised its full-year sales outlook as international orders climb. The weapons-systems maker's Q2 earnings from continuing operations rose 3.8% to $1.65 per share. The results included a 10-cent per-share benefit from a pension adjustment, a 29-cent per-share benefit from a tax settlement, and a 9-cent per-share unfavorable impact from acquisition costs.
