NEW YORK — As a deluge continues to slam the tri-state area, the National Weather Service has reported rainfall totals giving a glimpse at how bad Monday’s storm has been for morning commuters.
Rain started early Monday and is expected to remain heavy through noon.
It prompted the weather service to issue a flash flood warning for NYC, and parts of southeastern New York and northeastern New Jersey. The warning is expected to last through 11:15 a.m.
