Pluto Looks Very Small When Compared to Countries on Earth

Australia is a fairly large country, with an area of 7,692,024 square kilometers. It's big enough to be its own continent, but is it hefty enough to be bigger than an entire planet? Data from the New Horizons mission have revised Pluto’s diameter to a measly 2370 kilometers in diameter, making it smaller than the width of the Land Down Under.

Nathan Lee helps us put this into perspective on Twitter:

Pluto's diameter is 2,370km.Sydney to Perth is 3,274km.Adelaide to Darwin is 2,620km.
