People are raising $2.8B to build a ‘Lord of the Rings’ city in England

A fellowship of architects has come up with a plan to build a real-life Minas Tirith, the capital of Gondor in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. The cost of building a fictional city? Oh, just $2.8 billion.
