New Hampshire man bites police dog

A New Hampshire man wanted on a domestic assault charge and acting erratically while holed up in a Manchester hotel room grappled with and bit a police dog deployed to bring him under control, police said.

Officers went to the La Quinta Inn shortly before 9:30 p.m. Friday in response to a report of a domestic assault and a man yelling, acting erratically, throwing things and generally behaving aggressively, Manchester police said.
