DANVILLE, Va. (AP) — A medical examiner says a Virginia man fatally shot by police died of gunshot wounds to the chest.
Dr. Sara Ohanessian, a medical examiner in the Roanoke office, said Wednesday that Juan (Ju-AHN) Jones of Danville was shot twice.
The 25-year-old Jones was killed by police early Sunday morning. The police department has said officers were responding to a report of a domestic assault whey they encountered Jones.
