If the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles looked like the artists they were named after

Cowabunga! Kiwi artist Owen Dippie just put up a mural in Brooklyn that depicts the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, albeit with less shells and green skin.

At a wall along the railway track, Dippie combines pop culture with classical art by creating an artwork that sees the beloved turtles as the Renaissance artists they were named after. The mural is simple yet incredibly eye-catching, it shows real-life Michelangelo, Donatello, Rafael, and Leonardo Da Vinci wearing the Ninja Turtle masks.
