Calling the drug ‘unprofitable‘ is how Turing pharmaceutical company CEO Martin Shkreli justified the 5,000 percent increase in the price of the lifesaving drug Daraprim.

Though the price was raised before, the most recent increase took the cost from $13.50 per pill to $750 per pill, making it a $30,000 per month prescription for some patients. Shkreli has been quoted as saying he regrets the price raise because he does not think it was high enough.
