Harley-Davidson Earnings Top Despite Strong Dollar

Harley-Davidson (HOG) reported second-quarter earnings above Wall Street estimates Tuesday, despite a strong dollar hitting sales overseas. The motorcycle maker said Q2 earnings fell 15% to $1.44 per share, but topped the $1.39 per share analysts polled by Thomson Reuters were expecting. Consolidated revenue fell 9% to $1.82 billion. Revenue from motorcycles and related products was $1.65 billion, just missing analysts' expectations of $1.67
