Halliburton Earnings Crush Views Despite Lower Oil

Halliburton (HAL) reported adjusted second-quarter earnings and revenue above Wall Street estimates despite lower oil prices. The oilfield service provider said Q2 adjusted earnings fell 52% to 44 cents per share. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters were expecting 29 cents.
