GE On Track With Asset Sales, But Will Oil Hit Q2?

General Electric (GE) has been selling off its financial assets as it focuses on its industrial core, but lower oil and gas prices could weigh on second-quarter results. GE is scheduled to report Q2 results on Friday. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the conglomerate to post a 28% drop in earnings to 28 cents per share.
