Former Chelsea/Brimmer May hoop standout Sammy Mojica playing professionally in Puerto Rico

An interesting name popped up in the recently held Puerto Rico Basketball Draft.

Former Chelsea High and Boston Herald All-Scholastic Sammy Mojica was selected by Atleticos (Athletics) of San German Puerto Rico with the third pick of the draft and signed a one-year deal. The 6-foot-3 guard is playing on a team with O.J. Mayo and Raphael Putney, who played at UMass.
