Flora fatal fire investigator quits after questions arise about case

FLORA, Ind. (WISH) — A state fire investigator with the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office has resigned after questions have been raised about the investigation into a fatal fire that killed four girls and injured their mother.

According to the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Dennis Randle resigned from his position on June 23 stemming from questions about the case. A department spokesman declined to comment further.
