Firefighters put out two small fires near 57 Freeway in Anaheim

Firefighters doused a pair of small brushfires that broke out Sunday afternoon in Anaheim on the right shoulder of the southbound 57 Freeway.

Both of the fires were reported at 2:28 p.m., Infante said. The fires were burning in a 20-foot area just north of where South Street crosses over the freeway. By just after 3 p.m., both fires were out.
