Fire tears through Orange laundromat, cause under investigation

ORANGE – It took about 50 firefighters one hour to extinguish a fire that tore through a laundromat early Friday, Sept. 14.

About 15 fire engines and trucks battled the 1 a.m. blaze at Chapman Avenue and Feldner Road, according to a MetroNet, a fire dispatch service.

By 2 a.m., the fire was extinguished, with investigators trying to figure out the cause.

No injuries were reported.
