Family reaches $1.14 million settlement in case of 9-year-old boy killed in 2014 wreck on U.S. 52

RURAL HALL, N.C. — The family of the 9-year-old boy who was killed in a chain-reaction wreck on U.S. 52 on October 30, 2014,  has reached a $1.14 million settlement.

The Winston-Salem Journal reports that Jeremy Crymes’ family filed a complaint in Forsyth Superior Court for approval of a minor settlement and wrongful death settlement, and court papers filed on July 22 said the settlement was reached.
