‘Environmentally friendly and sustainable’: Calgary to use grazing goats to control weeds in two city parks

The City of Calgary is starting a pilot project to control weeds by letting a herd of goats loose in two city parks. A professional shepherd and highly trained herding dogs will keep the animals in line. The dogs will live on site 24 hours a day for the duration of the project.
