Dole recalls spinach because of possible salmonella contamination

NEW YORKSpinach sold by Dole is being recalled because it may be tainted with salmonella, the company said this week.

The recalled leafy greens are marked with an Enjoy By date of Oct. 15, codes A27409B and A27409A, and UPC 7143000976, Dole said.

Bags of the spinach were sold in these 13 states: Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Wisconsin.
