Court puts ruling striking down right-to-work on hold

MADISON — A Wisconsin appeals court has put on hold a Dane County circuit judge’s ruling striking down the state’s right-to-work law.

The court late Tuesday granted the emergency stay request made in April by Attorney General Brad Schimel.

The Republican Schimel argued that the ruling striking down the Republican-authored law signed by Gov. Scott Walker has created confusion and should be put on hold while an appeal is pending.
