NEW HAVEN - A 22-year-old Connecticut man on Tuesday was sentenced to a year and a day in jail after pleading guilty to several "swatting" incidents - or hoax calls to police intended to activate tactical units - that happened in 2014 in Connecticut and Massachusetts, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
