Closures to protect raptors are lifted by Boulder

The city of Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks department has lifted several seasonal closures that safeguard nesting raptors and grassland songbirds. Those closures protect sensitive wildlife habitats where some raptor species produced a high number of fledglings, including seven peregrine falcons, two prairie falcons, four golden eagles and two bald eagles.
