
Uber users are not happy with the company following their decisions during the Muslim ban protests at JFK airport on Saturday (January 28).
During the protests, the New York Taxi Workers Alliance temporarily halted service to the airport in order to stand in solidarity with the protesters.
Uber, on the other hand, decided to eliminate surge pricing at JFK, which many saw as a way to capitalize on the lack of taxi service especially due to CEO Travis Kalanick‘s connection to Donald Trump.
