Branded: Facebook edges into the world’s 10 most valuable brands

You might not realise it, but the brands of companies like Coca-Cola and McDonald’s are nearly priceless.

But today the world’s most valuable brands aren’t dominated by traditional luxury brands like Dior, Cartier and Tiffany, which have all been pushed down the list, but instead by technology giants.

Apple comes top with a global brand value of $184bn, that’s nearly the same value as the entire annual gross domestic product of the Czech Republic.
