B.C. police officer accused of stuffing money into his sock during raid won’t be charged

What’s apparent from hidden surveillance footage is that an Abbotsford, B.C., police officer took a wad of cash off a dresser during a drug raid last November, turned around and bent over.

What was alleged is that he stuffed that money into his sock in a brazen theft.

However, Crown prosecutors this week said while they were disturbed by what they saw, they could not proceed with charges because there wasn’t enough evidence.
