Aurora Movie Theater Co. Finally Relents and Says Mass Shooting Survivors DON’T Have to Pay $700,000

It’s been over four years since James Holmes walked into the Aurora Century 16 movie theater and killed 12 people and injured 70 others during the opening day of “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Back in 2012, a group of survivors filed a lawsuit against Cinemark, who owned the Aurora theater, claiming that their lack of security allowed Holmes to enter and commit his horrifying act without anyone stopping him.
