Appeals Court Denies Restoration of Donald Trump's Travel Ban

The United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit has rejected a request by the Justice Department to restore Donald Trump‘s travel ban.

This means that people from the seven predominantly-Muslim countries of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen – and vetted refugees – can continue to enter the U.S., according to the New York Times.

Trump originally signed the controversial executive order on January 27 as nationwide protests broke out at airports.
