American Airlines flight makes emergency landing at JFK after being struck by lightning: FAA

QUEENS — American Airlines flight 4233 traveling from Raleigh-Durham International Airport to LaGuardia Airport made an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport after being struck by lightning.

According to the FAA, the plane landed safely at 6:06 p.m.

The FAA is investigating.
