After county budget cuts, city finds new money

Wichita, Ks. – Project Access is a simple concept. The group takes a relatively small amount of money and leverages that into doctor care for those with no insurance.

“Our mission is to help,” says Anne Nelson with Central Plains Health Care Partnership/Project Access. “But, for the next year (2016) budget, the county is eliminating our funding.”

The county has decided to kill about $200,000 it gives to Project Access for 2016.
