200 marijuana plants, honey oil lab found in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA — An effort to evict a business Thursday led investigators to a marijuana grow operation in Santa Ana, police said.

Orange County sheriff’s deputies were directed to 1714 E. McFadden Ave. on Thursday, Oct. 12, to evict a business, but when they arrived they discovered a marijuana grow operation inside that included a “sophisticated honey oil lab system,” Santa Ana Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.
