2 people rescued from house on fire in Santa Ana

Two people were rescued from a house fire in Santa Ana on Friday night, a fire official said.

One person was critically injured; the other had minor injuries, according to Capt. Alan Wilkes of the Orange County Fire Authority.

Firefighters dispatched at 10 p.m. to the 1000 block of North Olive Street. They encountered flames and smoke coming from a home and learned people were trapped in the house, Wilkes said.
